The annual Ginetta awards evening was held at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Belfry, near Oxford, on 18th November 2022.
James Kellett, being Ginetta GT4 Supercup Champion for 2022, was there to collect his award. Joining him on his table were his proud parents, sponsors and close friends.
A very nice welcome with a glass of prosecco and some beers was followed by a welcome speech and thoughly enjoyable wine-accompanied three-course meal, which was enjoyed by all.
Then came the awards, with the Ginetta juniors, G55 classes and then the G56 other classes all receiving their awards before the G56 Champion accepted his – James Kellett went up to accept his award to a very loud round of applause. It was certainly a fantastic season, with James breaking records on the way – finishing at the top of the table well in front of the rest.
After the awards presentations everyone went on to the bar where music played and more drinks flowed. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening with fond memories to take away.
Onwards to next season, and whatever that brings…
